DTC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corporation ("MC”) since 2012 which is one of the largest Japanese trading and investment houses. MC has established DTC in London as a holding company to integrate MC's investment activities in European transmission sector. As of January, 2018, DTC has 9 assets in the UK and Germany totalling circa 4.4GW and c.£3.6bn.
